Super Powers

Ever think about what you would do if you had super powers? Would you use your super powers for good or evil? What super powers would you have?

I know, this topic is totally out of left field. I just figured it would something fun to talk about since everything else has been serious topics.

I have thought about these questions many times. I am a bit of a super hero geek. Don’t judge. That just makes me awesome…and nerdy. If I ever had powers, I would probably be telepathic and be telekinetic. Why, you ask? Well, for one thing I would be able to read other’s minds, communicate without speaking, and move things with my mind. I would be able to go into people’s minds and see what they aren’t telling me. what they are keeping from me. I would be able to see or even feel people’s true feelings. Are they hiding behind a mask or are they someone who speaks their mind? Sure, having these powers can be risky. You can have a lot of enemies. Unless, you keep it a secret. But, is anything really a secret? People eventually find out the truth. How would you be able to keep something so powerful a secret? You really can’t. the power would take over you and cause so much damage to you and everything around you.

Take a look at Jean Gray from the X-Men, she is a telepath and she have telekinetic powers. She got so consumed in her powers that it took her over. She couldn’t control it. She went from using her powers for good to using her powers for evil. Would that happen to me? The key is to not let the power consume you, to take control of the power and not let the power control you. Some may wonder. Am I strong enough? OF COURSE, you are. The ability to control the power has been inside of you all along. You just need to learn how to control it.

Now the big question is; WHY would you want these types of powers? The main reason I would want to use these powers is to look in the minds of the male species. Specifically, males that I am in a relationship with or at least am dating. The reason is so I can gage how they are feeling and their intentions. I don’t want to waste my time with someone who doesn’t have good intentions. So, I figured if I had telepath and telekinesis, I would be able to save a lot of time and heartache. Not to mention my sanity.

Having super powers would be exciting. I guess you could say that I would use my superpower for good? Maybe? Well, it depends on my mood. I am a woman after all.
